Instruction to Charging: the vehicle-mounted power battery charger is located in front engine room, and normal input voltage range of charger is AC 90-265V. The optimum charging environment temperature of lithium-ion power battery is 10℃-40℃, and vehicle shall be charged immediately after use. In winter, when ambient temperature is below 0℃, it is suggested to charge the vehicle indoors after use immediately.

Charging Method: this model supports different charging methods. Depending on different charging methods, charging time may vary. The following charging equipment is not the standard configuration; user can select the most suitable charging method according to the actual vehicle configuration.
■ In case the charging cable assembly A without in-cable control box is used, the required charging time of 20-100% battery quantity is about 10 hours.
■ In case the charging cable assembly B with in-cable control box is used, the required charging time of 20-100% battery quantity is about 6 hours.
■ In case the wall-mounted type AC charging pile C or vertical AC charging pile D is used, the required charging time of 20-100% battery quantity is about 5 hours.

Charging Method:
Individual Charging Cable: if you use the individual charging cable component A or B to charge the vehicle, please refer to the following instructions:
■ Turn the auto start key off to keep the vehicle at gear OFF.
■ Take the charging cable assembly out, and insert the three-pin power supply plug 1 into power supply plug 2 with reliable grounding wire.
■ Open the charging cover 3 in the right rear of vehicle.
■ Turn the button 4 according to the arrow direction, charging socket cover 5 of vehicle will be opened automatically.
■ Insert the charger 6 into the charging socket 7 of vehicle.

■ Wait for 5 seconds and then observe if the power indicator lamp A of in-cable control box is normally on, status indicator lamp B blinks, fault indicator lamp 1C is off, fault indicator lamp 2D is off, indicating charging is normal; at this time, the charging connection indicator lamp on combined instrument is normally on, charging status indicator lamp E rolls and indicates “charging”, and the current charging details column F will show the current charging current, current voltage and remaining capacity.
■ Confirm the vehicle is charged normally, and then lock the vehicle and leave.

Charging Completion:
■ Observe if the power indicator lamp A of in-cable control box is normally on, status indicator lamp B is normally on, fault indicator lamp 1 C is off, fault indicator lamp 2 D is off, then indicating charging is completed. At this time, if the remaining capacity of combined instrument points at 100%, indicating charging is completed.
■ Press and hold the push button 8 on the charger to release the mechanical lock, and pull the charger out.
■ Remove the three-pin power supply plug 1 from power supply socket 2, and keep the charging cable assembly properly.

Malfunction: if charging fails or stops, please judge the fault according to indicator display description of in-cable control box pasted on the control box, as follows. If fault cannot be eliminated, please contact ZHIDOU electric vehicle special service station for assistance.

Wall-mounted or Vertical Charging Pile: if the wall-mounted or vertical charging pile is used for charging, for relevant operating instructions, please refer to the attached use instructions.

Obtaining Current Charging Status by Observing Indicator Lamp of Charger: in addition to obtaining the current charging status by observing the indicator lamps of combined instrument, in-cable control box and charging pile, you can know the current charging status by checking the indicator lamp A of charger.

■ Open the front compartment cover to observe the indicator lamp A of charger.
■ If the red indicator lamp is normally on, indicating charger is in standby mode.
■ If the red indicator lamp blinks, indicating charging is in progress.
■ If the green indicator lamp is normally on, indicating charging is completed.
■ If the indicator lamp blinks alternately (red and green), indicating the charging system fails, please contact ZHIDOU electric vehicle special service station for assistance.

Notes for Charging in Rainy, High Temperature, Low Temperature and Extreme Environment:
■ Pay attention to the rain protection of charger and charging opening during charger plugging and unplugging to prevent rain from entering into charger and charging socket.
■ During charging, in-cable control box and power supply socket shall be placed indoors or protected from rain. Conduct the charging operation in the condition that the in-cable control box and power supply socket are exposed to the rain.
■ After charging, put the charger away timely and keep properly. If charging pile is used, after charging, charger shall be inserted into charging pile socket. It is prohibited to throw the charger freely to avoid electric shock.
■ It is suggested to stop the charging operation in extreme weather such as rainy day and windstorm day.
■ Charging shall avoid power consumption peak. As grid voltage is unstable during power consumption peak period, it may cause charger to start the power-reduction charging mode, thus lengthening the charging time correspondingly.
■ As the weather is hot and dry during summer, and may cause fire, pay attention to ventilate and avoid direct sunlight as much as possible.
■ The optimum ambient temperature of charging is 10℃-40℃. In order to protect the power battery, vehicle shall be installed with battery pack heating equipment according to the needs of sales area. When ambient temperature is below 0℃, charger will start the heating mode and conduct power-reduction charging by gears to lengthen the charging time correspondingly.
■ When ambient temperature is above 45℃, charging is prohibited.
